La Barbera

La Barbera is a cosy agritourism, family business since 2004, situated in Castelvetro di Modena, on the hills of Modena among vineyards and olive groves .

The nice rural building has been minutely restored and it is immersed in the countryside of Modena. It offers a large dining room where guests can taste the specialities of the typical Emilian cuisine such as tortellini, gnocco fritto and tigelle, all made with flours from their own production. The speciality of La Barbera are “Ravioli alla Barbera”. All dishes are homemade with first quality ingredients.

For almost one century, La Barbera produces typical local wines such as Lambrusco Grasparossa and Trebbiano, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
Furthermore, it is possible to buy local products such as wine in bottles or demijohns, oil, cooked grape must for Balsamic Vinegar, jams and many other seasonal products.

This agritourism is also the ideal place for your ceremonies and banquets and it takes part in the educational project of Didactic Farms (Fattorie Didattiche).

On Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday for lunch.
During the week it is possible to book a table for business lunch every day.
