Nocino is a typical liqueur from Modena made from unripe green walnuts harvested towards the end of June – according to tradition on June 24th, St. John's Day – when the fruits are still far from ripening and have a hue with a nice green color. Nocino is a typical homemade product, made by Modenese families thanks to ancient recipes, with some variations that give it a unique and original flavour. This sticky dark brown liqueur is characterized by a intense aroma and it is perfect to end every type of lunch.
